Ian is a corporate finance professional with more than 25 years’ experience of advising on complex situations in the UK and internationally. His work has spanned corporate finance advisory, commercial banking and project finance across several sectors with a focus on healthcare, including pharmaceuticals and med-tech. Ian has advised the UK government on policy, strategy and transactions, including the financing of a number of healthcare and Public Private Partnership (PPP) projects including the sale of NHS Logistics and numerous healthcare investments.
Ian was previously at the MUFG Bank acting as the European, Middle East and Africa head of healthcare, responsible for developing and implementing the strategy for clients in pharmaceuticals, med-tech and healthcare services generally. Before that, as a Corporate Finance Partner at PwC, he led the healthcare PPP team and wider healthcare team. He has broad, practically gained, knowledge of infrastructure investments.
Ian holds an MBA from Wharton Business School, the University of Pennsylvania and is a Civil Engineering graduate from University College London.
