Disposal of Castlecare Group

We are pleased to announce that Baird Capital Partners Europe (“Baird”) has completed the sale of its investment in Castlecare to the Priory Group Limited. Castlecare was an investment made by Baird managed funds in July 2004 and the sale completed in December 2014.

Castlecare is one of the UK’s leading providers of care and education to young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties. During Baird’s investment the business increased its national footprint (organically and via acquisitions) and currently operates 34 children’s homes and 5 specialist schools all of which have OFSTED inspection ratings of “Good” or “Outstanding”.
