Smith Square Partners advises Asian Energy Impact Trust plc on its review of strategic options

Smith Square Partners acted as sole financial adviser to Asian Energy Impact Trust plc (“AEIT”) on its review of strategic options following the suspension of trading in AEIT’s shares due to a material uncertainty in the valuation of the Company’s investment portfolio.

Smith Square provided advice in relation to the Company’s strategic options, including reviewing its investment management arrangements and the appointment of an interim investment manager, tactical advice in relation to General Meetings requisitioned by the Company’s former investment manager and minority shareholder, and options for the realisation of AEIT’s investment portfolio.
